Satellite Signal Meter

The SSM2500F measures the quality of satellite signals from the antenna dish to the customer’s set top IRD. It is compact, field portable and very easy to use, making it the ideal test instrument for the satellite installer by even giving the elevation and azimuth for whichever satellite you select. The 2500F is an alternative to expensive, bulky spectrum analyzers and the older SSM2150F model. Since it displays actual signal level, there is no need to calculate resolution bandwidth corrections. It also has the positive ID feature or an automatic scan to identify the unknown satellite. The SSM2500F’s geo-sensitive “Field Guide” shows you just the birds visible to your install -- ALL of them, with their individual transponders.
